Short answer
Water damage help in Del City
In short
For water damage in Del City, call the water line any hour. We clean up sewer backups, dry slab leaks and storm water in older homes, and handle repairs once readings say dry, with crews coming across the metro from the N MacArthur Blvd service office.
How water gets in here
One builder's streets, seventy-plus years on
Del City was incorporated on October 9, 1948, when it had 582 homes, about 75 percent of them built by developer George Epperly. It had 21,822 residents at the 2020 census and borders southeast Oklahoma City, Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base.
Homes of the same age and the same builder tend to age the same way. Original drain lines crack or catch roots, supply lines under older slabs start to weep, and bathrooms with decades of remodeling hide old leaks under newer floors.
Low ground floods too. During the May 2015 rains, some roads in Oklahoma City and Del City sat under as much as nine inches of water, and a large part of the city was hit in the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak.

Before the crew arrives
What to do in a Del City home before we get there
Stop all water use on a backup
If a drain or toilet is backing up, stop every faucet, shower and appliance until the line is cleared.
Watch the low side of the house
In heavy rain, check the garage and doors on the downhill side first; that's where water gets in.
Lift rugs in small rooms
In compact floor plans, water reaches the next room in a few feet. Get rugs and cords off the floor.
